SpecStrand Terms of Service

1. Acceptance. By using SpecStrand you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service. SpecStrand is a platform for turning ideas into reviewable, agent-executable specs and plans, provided by SpecStrand.

3. Accounts and eligibility. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Phone verification and messaging. You consent to receive one-time verification text messages from us (via Twilio) to the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

5. Fees and subscriptions. Paid features require a subscription billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. New accounts receive a free trial; when it ends, access to paid features requires an active subscription. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

6. Acceptable use. Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others' rights, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the service.

7. Your content. You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited license needed to host and operate the service on your behalf.

8. Intellectual property. The service, software, and SpecStrand marks are owned by SpecStrand.

9. Disclaimers. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpecStrand is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms; you may stop using the service at any time.

12. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

13. Changes. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
